WHAT I LEARNED FROM ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER PART 5 OF 7

Most people know him as the Hollywood big-shot but what not many people know is that Arnold made his first million dollars by investing in property. Not from his movies.

You see Arnold wanted the freedom to choose the right acting roles for his career.

When I met Arnold he told me “I always promised myself I would not get into a position where I would have to take a job, or do a role just because I had to make money to get by”

Arnold’s Fourth rule to follow for success is,

  1. Don’t Listen to the Naysayers

“How many times have you heard that you can’t do this and you can’t do that and it’s never been done before? I love it when someone says that no one has ever done this before, because then when I do it I get to prove that it could in fact be done! So pay no attention to the people that say it can’t be done. I never listen to, “You can’t.” I always listen to myself and say, “Yes, you can.”

On the journey of reaching your goals, there’s going to be lots of different voices telling you “it’s not gonna happen” don’t listen to them. Two of my clients, a young couple got told by a mortgage broker that they couldn’t afford to invest in property. Instead of giving up on them, all I had to do was make one phone-call. We ended up saving them $30,000! And they were  able to comfortably buy an investment property. Whether it’s your partner, parents or your boss, you’ve got to learn to distance yourself from negativity and never quit on your dreams.

So what does it really take to get what you want in life? We’ll explore in part 6 of this post.
